Articulated Tractor

Designed and build started by my Father, Al Bollman, in the mid to late 80s - Designed to be Crosley powered in the rear section and all hydraulic driven. I have outsourced its completion to Scott Yingst and will update as the project moves forward. Any ideas on the project? Jim@Bollman.com

Even though my Father left drawings and frame/cab assembly done, as Scott tries to make it real he is finding things that just don't fit or work as originally thought.

This engine ended up having a broken crank

Engine #2 getting prettied up, this one runs. It is a CoBra conversion but should have an easy life running at relatively low RPMs & constant speed.

Cab test fit, way to low, decided to remove the top of the cab. Tractor would have been over 7 foot tall, for a normal person to fit. My Dad was originally going to use this to plow snow, mow grass and other things. Now it will be just a toy so an enclosed cab isn't really needed. Note nose needed to be raised to give more knee space.

Starting to look like a real tractor

You can see the hydraulic tank on the right .
