Here is my working mode with indirect
lighting. LED rope light underneath,
double switch on right under edge of desk controls upper and lower
lights
individually. 17" LCD and 20" HD
LCD on vertical pole mount. The new vertical monitor pole allows
the lower display to drop almost to the desk and tilt back and the
upper monitor to be lowered and tilted forward. This new monitor setup
is much easier on the neck as only a slight tilt of the head or even
just my eyes to shift displays, it also gives me easier access to the
dtorage behind the upper display. Just enough room under the bottom
display for a small USB hub. The large pull out shelf
holds: Logitech solar powered bluetooth keyboard that allows
connecting to 3 devices with the push of a button (the LED lighting
keeps it charged), Apple touch pad has replaces my mouse and it
is great. All this is connected to a 2012 Mac mini 2.3GHz
i7 (4 core) 16GB/1TB computer on a shelf under the desk along with a
1.5T Firewire 800 and 3TB USB 3 drive. Scanner is a Canon 8400F
reflection/transparency. To the left is my MacBook Pro, I use Apples
built in screen sharing to swap the laptop screen on to the big
monitor as well as the living room media center computer. All the
compters are connected by GigaNet and N wireless. Shelves
for storage underneath. Older Setups
